We’re Proud to Be a Small, Family-Run Business

Let’s be clear from the outset: at Moldwel we are not a “big company”. We’re not big in turnover, number of staff, or building size – and that’s exactly how we like it.

We are, and always intend to remain, a small, family-run business. We know from experience that this can sometimes put certain people off. The first time potential customers visit us, we can usually tell quite quickly whether our size is going to be an issue for them.

Some buyers feel more comfortable walking into a large, shiny modern building full of people bustling around – for whatever reason, it seems to give them peace of mind. We are the polar opposite of that image.

More often than not, when you call Moldwel, it will be me – the Managing Director – who answers the phone. If you come to visit us on site, it will probably be me who greets you, shows you around, and even makes you a coffee. We don’t try to hide this fact. In fact, as you can see from reading this blog, we’re genuinely proud of it.

We choose not to be extravagant. Instead, we run a lean, highly efficient operation with a small team of dedicated people who work hard and are exceptionally good at what they do. We don’t carry excess staff just to look bigger – that only adds unnecessary cost. Every person we employ adds real value to the business.

Our senior team all bring many years of hands-on experience in the plastics injection moulding industry. Between us, there is very little we haven’t seen or successfully solved before. We know our craft inside out, and we excel at delivering results – even on the most challenging jobs.
