Plastic Injection Moulders

Hello and welcome to the first of what will hopefully be a weekly blog. I’ll be discussing the industry as a whole, specifics about why we think we are slightly different to other Plastic Injection Moulding companies in our Industry and what hopefully we can do for you.

So, a little bit about the company. Formed in 173 by Mike Penn and Peter Mason, we are now entering our 45^th year in business – quite an achievement ( we think anyway ) for a Small Trade Moulder in the heart of the Black Country.  During this time we have seen many ups and downs, many industry fads. The Exodus of tools and work to the Far East and then the subsequent return of most of the these tools as an example.

What’s the secret to our longevity ? There’s certainly no “magic formula” but a combination of factors. We have always prided ourselves on our customer service – wherever possible we  accommodate what our customers want – whether that’s moving around our production plan and getting a “panic” order produced quickly, whether that’s holding stock to be called off at a later date, whether that’s being a little bit flexible on payment terms ( especially on new tooling ) we do what we can to help.

We are always contactable 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – when you ring through irrespective of the time someone will always answer your call – we may not be onsite at the time but we will speak to you and hopefully help you out there and then – we don’t “take messages” and get someone to call you back later !

We are honest – sometimes things go wrong and we make mistakes – we are only human – this does happen from time to time – we don’t hide this fact and we don’t make excuses – we will always tell you when things don’t go to plan and we will give you options and solutions.
